Much of my work is about sexual desires and matrimonial restraints in a patriarchal society where moral expectations are still anchored in the catholic tradition. My new work mostly expressed in my works on paper bears witness to this kind of suppression being subjected to dogmas and taboos that the italian male-dominated society continues to maintain.
