I wanted to depict three moods and spirits of three different stages in life. The rebellious child, true to herself, the woman, having fulfilled her social role with all the sacrifices that it contains, and the sage and wise woman at the end of her life.
The painting is inspired by Masaccio's compositions, the Colors of Lucas Granac and the paintings of Gustav Klimt.
