Wall paper

180 x 150 cm
Coffee and charcoal on Paper

This Drawing is a stylization of a woodcut from the 18th hundred showing how you can get a maximum of slaves to fit into a boat. I was inspired by this image because of the pattern being so well organized and planned only thinking of people in numbers. The wallpaper was meant to be a repetitive part of an installation presented in a project years ago.

The paper is grinded in a way that the surface looks like a wooden floor.

The image is unfortunately cut a little bit off It is centered and lacks what you can see on the far right. also, the black pattern is equal in darkness and tone everywhere and not light on the left as the image shows.
