This Portrait was commissioned to celebrate a lifelong career and a significant turningpoint in the life of the well-known danish actor Jan Lindebjerg. He wanted his wife included in the portrait always being such a great support in his life. He loves the sea and used to sail a lot. This passion I managed to include into the wife's dress. The decorations on the left are a stylized almost Egyptian pattern of a particular fish giving the painting a major profoundness and importance of their relationship, whereas the friesze behind them is of Greek origin reminding us of their theatrical career and passion.
